Severn House at Bewdley School Raise an incredible £1,333.81 for KEMP Hospice!

Earlier this year, we shared the news that Severn House had chosen KEMP Hospice as their charity of the year, one of the three student houses at The Bewdley School. During the academic year, they held a series of fundraising events on behalf of KEMP Hospice and we are thrilled to share, they raised £1,333.81 for our care and support services!

Amy and Will in Year 12, with the support of Mrs Jones have been the charity leaders of the house and have done an incredible job in creating new and exciting fundraising ideas throughout the year!

As well as taking part in an abundance of KEMP events and challenges, they’ve sold t-shirts, pin badges and even snoods to raise vital funds for KEMP Hospice.

Severn House took part in our annual Rudolph Run in December, as well as our new 2024 Butterflies for KEMP schools’ campaign in May, where they even created their own unique card to display the butterfly seed paper and sell at their various fetes, markets and craft stall events!

It was a huge pleasure to meet with Amy, Will and Mrs Jones throughout the year and we are truly honoured that they chose KEMP as their chosen charity for 2024.

Fantastic Fundraising Efforts Raise over £1,000 for KEMP Hospice

On a sunny Summer’s Day in July, the KEMP team met with Amy and Mrs Jones where they presented a cheque for £1333.81, which is a truly amazing amount!

£1,333.81 could help to cover one whole day of bereavement care for individuals in the Wyre Forest, and Severn House from Bewdley Schools’ generous donation helps to ensure we can continue to provide this crucial support.

We never charge for our care at KEMP Hospice, so the funds raised will help make a big difference to those who need our care and support. A huge thank you to Amy, Will, Mrs Jones and everybody in Severn House for choosing to support KEMP Hospice!
